Surprisingly , the first colour associated to Saint Patrick was the blue and then It changed into green.
I also did not know that He was not born in Ireland but in England. One of the most curious issue related to Saint Patrick , is the fact that in Montserrat , a petite island in the British West Indias is the only country where the day is an official Public holidays.

People initially worn blue clothes. The change of color is related to the well-known surname “The Emerald Isle” given to Ireland. This change was shown off during the Irish Rebellion against British forces.
Some die-hard people still wear in green, as well as some other wear orange: they show in this way their belonging to Catholics or Protestant faiths.

After reading and listening all the given information, I have learnt too many things about Saint Patrick. Perhaps the most curious one I have never heard before is that thanks to Saint Patrick there are not snakes in Ireland. Other thing that catches my attention is the huge number of cities that celebrate the 17 March all around the world!!
