Firstly, I´d like to say that even I thought I knew a huge amount of facts about Saint Patrick, after reading and watching videos I have learnt several new information.
Surprisingly , the first colour associated to Saint Patrick was the blue and then It changed into green.
I also did not know that He was not born in Ireland but in England. One of the most curious issue related to Saint Patrick , is the fact that in Montserrat , a petite island in the British West Indias is the only country where the day is an official Public holidays.

I knew that St. Patrick's was the most important festivity in Ireland, but I surprised by the huge parade that takes place in New York city. I dind't know that almost 39% of american people celebrate St. Patrick's day (however, I was conscious of the enormous emigration of Irish people to the USA in the nineteenth century).

Moreover, I've got 23 in the quiz.

Task 1:
People initially worn blue clothes. The change of color is related to the well-known surname “The Emerald Isle” given to Ireland. This change was shown off during the Irish Rebellion against British forces.
Some die-hard people still wear in green, as well as some other wear orange: they show in this way their belonging to Catholics or Protestant faiths.

I didn't know that the famous St Patrick is not actually saint. According to the article, it is due at that moment the Catholic Church didn't named saint anybody. Nevertheless, in my opinion this is false. There are many saints that belong a bygone era like the twelve apostles, for instance. So I suppose there must be another reasons that justify this fact.
On the other hand, my quiz score is 23

Years ago I read a book called the Celtic's dream from Vargas Llosa, there I learnt about conflicts between Irish and english people because of religious and cultural issues, so the first time I knew that Irish people celebrate this catholic bishop I was surprised. However, with time I get to know more about this celebration, in fact, in Mexico some restaurants and pubs gather each year a lot of people to celebrate. I didn't know that St. Patrick is not a saint until I read and listened this information.

I knew that Saint Patrick was the patron Saint of Ireland, but I didn't know that St. Patrick's Day was celebrated in so many cities around the world like Montreal (Canada)or Sydney (Australia).
Personally, it's a very special day mainly because it's my birthday.

Task 1:
After reading and listening all the given information, I have learnt too many things about Saint Patrick. Perhaps the most curious one I have never heard before is that thanks to Saint Patrick there are not snakes in Ireland. Other thing that catches my attention is the huge number of cities that celebrate the 17 March all around the world!!

TASK 1: I didn't know that St. Patrick wasn't born in Ireland, but in Estocia or Wales. He was kidnapped by pirates and taken to Ireland, where he later managed to escape and return to his homeland, where he became a monk and adopted the Christian name of Patrick.
In adulthood he returned to Ireland as a missionary and introduced Christianity.
