From my point of view, the most famous people in the world today are Athletes people such as Messi, Nadal, Roger Federer, Pau Gasol, actors like Tom Cruise or Brad Prit and singers for example Shakira among others. All of them are well known because they appear in movies, tv or just they have won many awards, championships.

Nowadays, famous people is related with arts and sport. Arts involve a lot of professions like singer, actor, instagramer which is a new type of work, youtuber which is the same, presenter and other people who use technology and also Internet to communicate with the society.
I think this type of people need special qualities to obtain this success. Depends on the profession, you need different atributes such as be spontaneous, sociable, outgoing, amusing, ect.
The difference with the fame in the past is that in these days most of the people use the social networks to obtain the fame. In the past, you have to show your special characteristics to someone who can run you to the success. Now, it is easier, Instagram and Facebook help the people to increase their renown, if they know how to do it and attract people

In what ways can you measure a person´s fame?
In my view, it depends on the year you want to measure it. For example, some years ago, the most famous people appeared on the news, magazines or newspapers. Even before, people became famous only when people spoke about them and finally everybody knew these people for what they had done or just what they had said. Nowadays, this fact is very different. Most of people become famous for appearing in social networks. The most followers they have, the most famous they are. What will be the next? ;)

"Who are the most famous and people in the world today? What are they famous for?"

From my point of view, the most famous and influential people in the world today are actors, singers, djs, models and athletes in general but, especially footballers.
All these people have in common that they are famous for their profession, since they are recognized worlwide for one reason or another.

When trying to label someone intpo a rating fame scale, we usually look at their social appearances, the number of fans or even the fame TV shows give them. But, starting with me, we generally missunderstand what fame's rate are we willing to estimate. Is fame, popularity and importance the same?

"Who are the most famous people in the world today? What are they famous for?"

When we talk about famous people, names of actors or football players may cross our minds, but I think that lately, and I don't know if unfortunately, politicians have become more and more famous. Some politicians appear in TV every day and every night, and their stupid comments about current affairs have made them known all over the world. Who doesn't know who is Donald Trump?

In what ways can you measure a person´s fame?

In my view, there are many aspects through which we can value a person's fame. For example, if you have a lot of money I am sure that you will be famous. I really think that everyone knows who is the richest person in the world, but no one knows the poorest one. Another important aspect is the social status of your family, I mean, if your parents are famous you will probably be famous. Another way of measuring fame is your career. If you are an important football player, a good actor, a good singer... you will be famous (depending on other factors as money, people you get on well...). But honestly, the less valued fame and for me, the most important one, is the one that you get doing good actions, helping people...
I find it difficult to explain how we can measure fame because I think that we all consider different aspects.
