Dear students,
As we have been dealing with science this week, I think it would be a good idea to write an OPINION composition about this topic :

To what extent is the use of animals in scientific research acceptable?

Currently, a great number of people asked themselves if it is ethical or not to experient in scientific research with animals.  They can think that is not correct but  would experimenting with people  be more appropriate? It is extremely difficult to decide which is the best option.

Firstly, in  most of the cases the animals which are used in research have been grown up deliverately.  Furthermore, even scientists, biologists and geneticist prefer using animals as guinea pigs in their experiments instead of people .

Secondly,  some pharmaceutical enterprises experiment with people who are paid. What is worse,  other times the research are done with people who are not said anything about that. ¿To what extent it is aceptable?

Finally, it is totally diferent to take part in an experiment than give some part or organ of our bodies like  a kidney. Besides, I am sure that nobody does  not mind to share in an  scientific or genetic if he or some close relative or friend is suffering an important or strange illness, such as cancer or VIH.

In conclusion, since of my point of view the use of  animals in scientific research is better than do it with people. Only if it is necessary and in the last part of the research could be aceptable to use people intead of animals.
