Subject: How to improve our School of Languages

INTRODUCTION

This proposal is intended to highlight the necessity of improving our school and modernize its facilities to help current students and attract new ones.

CURRENT SITUATION

Comments made by current students suggest that they have problems to fit their daily tasks with the school timetable so they miss their classes frequently. Furthermore, many people do not know about this school, so publicity could help to avoid this ignorance. In addition, other languages are demanded by young students.

WAYS TO IMPROVE AND MODERNISE THE SCHOOL

It would be an advantage to introduce more new languages like Chinese or even Russian in order to attract more students. Moreover, the use of new technology, for instance electronic white-boards would make lessons more attractive and modern as well as funnier. Another aspect to take into account is the way students come to school. Public transport and cycle lanes could be upgraded. Not only coming to class would be easier, but also students would look after the environment.

CONCLUSION

If these recommendations are implemented, the current situation is bound to improve. Our Official School of Languages will be known in all the city and students will be more prepared for the future.

Subject: How to improve the School.

INTRODUCTION.

The aim of this proposal is to improve and modernize the school and attract new students to study here.

CURRENT SITUATION

Following discussion among the students, it has become clear that many of them are feeling disappointed with electronic devices in classrooms. Furthermore, students think more common areas are needed to get a closer relationship with their classmates. The majority of students interviewed were of the opinion that the website is not useful.

KEY NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED

Students require additional help with the website structure due to the fact, that they find hard to search the accurate information. There should be a cafe instead of a vending machine. The school could also include new and better projectors to the classes.

RECOMMENDATIONS

We would like to make the following recommendations:

·         Develop the networking sites

·         Purchase new electronic devices

·         Build a cafeteria

If these recommendations are implemented, students will feel more interested to join to EOI School.

Subject:  How to attract new students to our school

INTRODUCTION

The aim of this proposal is intended to attract new members to the EOI. Furthermore, we are going to suggest new ideas and improvements.

CURRENT SITUATION

Concerned members have realized that enrolment taxes are expensive and find exams  very demanding. There are few classrooms and few facilities to  improve speaking skills.

SUGGESTIONS

We recommend that it is necessary to have more rooms and increase the hours dedicated to improve the oral skills.

There should be available schoolarships to reduce the cost of the enrolment. 

RECOMMENDATIONS

Apart from the ones above, we also recommend:

• Dedicating more space to ease the gathering of the pupils to work together, exchange knowledge etc. 
• Promoting the relations among foreign students who are studying Spanish and Spanish students who study foreign languages.

CONCLUSION

If these recommendations are implemented we are sure that the school will increase the number of the students .

Subject: Suggestions to improve the school and its facilities

INTRODUCTION

This proposal outlines some recommendations which may modernize the facilities of the school of languages and encourage new students to sign in.

IMPROVEMENT OF THE BUILDINGS

As the director may be aware, the building has some deficiencies that should be attended. For instance, it is advisable to implement an air-conditioning system in order to provide the  suitable work atmosphere. In addition, the majority of students think that it would be beneficial for disabled people, to increase the number of toilets and lifts fitted for them.

WAYS TO ATTRACT NEW STUDENTS

It is highly recommended to give students the option to interact with native speakers in order to improve their speaking skills. We would like to suggest the creation of a network between the University and the EOIL that provides the chance to interact among the Erasmus students and our students. Furthermore, videoconferences could be implemented once a month in the computers room to hold face-to-face conversations.

CONCLUSION

To sum up, if these ideas are implemented, we feel confident that there will be a significant enhance  in students’ learning and the school might be more attractive to new students. It is our hope that you will take this proposal into serious consideration.
