C1 ORAL EXAM Assessment

Assessment is based on performance in the whole of the speaking test. Things taken into account:

• Comprehensible pronunciation of individual sounds, stress and intonation.
• Accuracy and appropriacy of grammar and vocabulary. 
• Coherence and range of grammar structures and vocabulary. 
• Organization and connection of ideas. 
• Fluency. 
• Ability to interact with others in order to complete a social, interactive task. 
• Ability to give opinions and express different points of view.

 

• Make sure you speak as much as possible within the time limit. 
• Try to be natural and spontaneous and sound helpful and interested. 
• Speak clearly, look at the interlocutor and do not put your hand in front of your mouth.
